In Istanbul, retired CIA operative Bryan Mills and his wife are taken
hostage by the father of a kidnapper Mills killed while rescuing his
daughter.
Bryan Mills, the retired CIA agent, stopped at nothing to save his
daughter Kim from Albanian kidnappers. The father of one of the
kidnappers has sworn revenge and takes Bryan and his wife hostage during
their family vacation in Istanbul. Bryan enlists his daughter to help
them escape.
The theme seems to have turned upside down compared to the first part, it would be daughter who seems to be saving Liam Neeson from the captives this time around, the first part was famous for its simple take on not much of a complicated story keeping the audience interested throughout the movie. Taken 2 Getting released this October, Can this cause the stir and box office success like the first one did.
And also the best part for all the audiophile out there Taken 2 is gonna come out in Dolby Atmos, Dolby atmos is a future technology in sound with speakers spread all around the theaters unlike 5.1 or 7.1, which would change the way we watch movies, unfortunately there are only few theaters which are capable of running Dolby Atmos, guess there are some 12 theaters and all are situated in the US.
